Summary

Water levels, water quality, blue-green algae, fish, vegetation (river red gum and understorey communities) and waterbirds are being monitored regularly by MDFRC at Tareena Billabong as the wetland undergoes a management-induced drying phase. The wetlands were selected for water recovery as part of the drought contingency measures in response to the current drought.
