Outcomes
The project will produce sediment and macroinvertebrate surveys for the River Murray at Albury which will be presented in a report to the client.
Summary
The objective of the project is to establilsh baseline condition of sediments and macroinvertebrate communities in the River Murray at Albury prior to the commencement of river disposal of treated wastewater. Sites upstream and downstream of the discharge site will be monitored under a BACI (Before, After, Control, Impact) project design in a monitoring program which extends upon work carried out between 1991 and 1998.
