The ROT is designed to deliver the knowledge required to make operational water allocation decisions.
Summary
This project will work with water managers at the MDBC to determine what knowledge they require to underpin their operational decisions.
Implementation of The Living Murray poses a number of challenges for the MDBC, both in terms of their operations and in terms of implementing adaptive management principles. The River Operations Tool (ROT) will underpin both seasonal and daily operations of the Murray River, its tributaries and infrastructure.
