Outcomes 

Various resources suitable for use by Waterwatch co-ordinators to train Victorian Waterwatch volunteers.

Summary

1. Provision of images for the Victorian Waterwatch image library (web and printable quality) of the key macroinvertebrate families for Victoria's stream bioregions.
2. Provision of Signal score categories, feeding groups and habitats of selected key families to be used on versatile charts.
3. Provision of habitat scenes (e.g. river edge, river substrate, wetlands) of a range of habitat microcosms within the bioregions.
4. Provision of live footage (mpegs) of moving macroinvertebrates (swimming behaviour) and/or macroinvertebrate interactions (e.g. dragonfly larvae catching prey) of the dominant key families encountered by Waterwatch users.
