Summary

The Sustainable Rivers Audit (SRA) is a program to systematically assess the river health across the Murray-Darling Basin by collecting information in a consistent way across a range of indicators.

Macroinvertebrates and Fish are two themes used in the river health assessments.

There are three tasks for this project:

  1. Review QA/QC procedures undertaken by field sampling teams during SRA macroinvertebrate and fish sampling.
  2. Review QA/QC procedures undertaken during laboratory sample processing, data entry and data submission during SRA macroinvertebrate and fish sampling.
  3. Make general recommendations on QA/QC procedures employed by sampling teams.  Make recommendations on quality objectives as well as processes that would allow the QA Working Group to check such objectives are met.
