Summary

In 2004 Goulburn-Murray Water commissioned a large study into aspects of water quality in Lake Mulwala.  There were four components to this study.

  1. Part 1 outlines the results of a literature study and revaluation of available water quality data for the Lake.
  2. Part 2 identifies critical knowledge gaps identified in Part 1 and proposes a short-term sampling program to address those knowledge gaps.
  3. Part 3 presents the results of the sampling program described in Part 2.
  4. Part 4 draws on the outputs of the three earlier parts to describe an on-going monitoring framework for the Lake.
