Summary
MDFRC proposes a "road show" of a team of two aquatic scientists and one technician that will visit a different school and two other venues in the Albury Wodonga region each school day during National Science Week 2006 (12-20 August).
A number of hands-on activities, games and demonstrations designed to increase attendees' awareness and understanding of aquatic ecology; the role of science in our knowledge of how aquatic ecosystems work and our ability to manage them; and the value of aquatic systems in our every-day lives. In the case of school visits we will ask schools to invite the parents of their students to attend. In the case of other venues we will advertise widely.
