Descriptive Features:

  • body elongate ovate, flattened
  • respiratory siphon comparatively short, about 1/4 of body length
  • head slightly narrower than anterior pronotum
  • antennae 2- or 3-segmented
  • pronotum relatively broad, with humeral width larger than its median length, all margins concave
  • fore femur slightly longer than prothorax, with a prominent tubercle in basal part, longitudinal groove extending about 4/5 along its inner margin
  • distance between mid and hind coxae broader than width of a coxa
  • fore wings coriaceous, membrane with numerous veins forming a clearly reticulate pattern
  • Total length: 10 - 17.5 mm
