12-14 pairs of premental setae of varying length
legs very hairy
wing pads long compared to abdomen, extending to posterior margin of segment 9 (mature larvae and final instar exuviae)
mid-dorsal abdominal spines absent
lateral spines on abdominal segment 9 only, spines short, length less than ½ mid-dorsal length
inner margins of anal projections with stout setae
lateral abdominal margin and anal pyramid hairy
